Counting on God: Tent Time

This week at Maplewood, we are starting a new series of teachings in the book of Numbers. Today, we’re laying the groundwork by talking about our need for a consistent prayer life. We’ll be exploring the context of Numbers and the need to seek shelter “in the tent.”

My Story As a Blessing

Many times, we aren’t confident in telling the story of how Jesus has changed our lives because we’re either unprepared or our experience with Jesus is out-of-date. This week at Maplewood, we’re wrapping up our series on learning how to Bless others by focusing on how to be prepared to share our story when others ask.

Serving as Blessing

Jesus made serving others a priority. This week, we’re focused not just on the act of service, but also on HOW just shows us what authentic, meaningful service looks. When we get it right, we’re able to bless others and be blessed ourselves.

Listen to Bless

One of the easiest ways we can bless other people is by simply taking the time to listen to their hearts. It is a pattern Jesus establishes for his followers. Join us this week as we continue to learn how to become “blessers” on behalf of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed to Be a Blessing

Followers of Jesus are called to be a blessing. But too often our witness is more repulsive than it is attractive. This week, we’re beginning a series of messagings focused on what it means to be a blessing to the world around us and how that links into our calling.

Be Still to Know, Grow and Go

We’re so busy. It’s hard to sit still. In a world that teaches us to be on the move and to play dodgeball, Jesus is calling his followers to be still, so that we can know His will and join in what He wants to accomplish. Join us as we explore this topic this weekend at Maplewood…
