What’s the secret to wholeness and holiness? We have the answer! As we continue to explore the importance of mental health in ministering to our community, this week Pastor Joe double-clicks on Jesus’ command for us to go “all in” with him in order to become whole and holy.

TGIF on Tuesday? You bet! Maplewood welcome’s the “Thank God It’s Fryday” food truck this Tuesday at 110 Lawnview Avenue in Springfield, Ohio from 4 to 6pm, weather permitting. Check out TGIF’s menu.

Food Truck Tuesday’s are a simple way to enjoy some great food and connect with friends and neighbors.

“We have food trucks from all over the area schedule to make stops at Maplewood throughout the summer,” said Ed Klett, community pastor at Maplewood.

“We’re not raising money. We’re just trying to create some connection on the backside of the pandemic. Come and get ya’ some!”

Join us Tuesday, June 22 from 3 to 6pm (weather permitting) for some more great food from our local food trucks. This week, Maplewood welcome’s Freakin’ Rican’s with their great Puerto Rican fare. And speaking of fair’s , Chester’s food concessions will bringing traditional fair food for everyone to enjoy.

“We’re really enjoying the great food and great connections happening during our Food Truck Tuesday events,” said Joe Case, who co-pastor’s Maplewood with his wife, Victoria. “People wonder if we are fund raising for the church. No, we’re just doing it for the fun.”

We are all called to be shepherds. Did you know that? This week, Maplewood continues our new series, entitled Whole and Holy, with Pastor Joe exploring the implications of 1 Peter 5 for followers of Jesus. Join us for this challenging message as we emerge from the pandemic…

This week, Maplewood begins a new summer-long series that will focus on how we can and must minister to people–mind, body, spirit and soul. We begin our study anchored in 1 Peter 5, and we are focusing on the need for the body of Christ to rebalance our approach to bringing redemption and restoration to the World through the Good News of Jesus.

Two family favorites are coming to Maplewood this Tuesday as we roll through summer 2021 supporting our local food trucks. This Tuesday, June 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. (weather permitting), at 110 Lawnview Avenue in Springfield, we welcome:

Why are we doing this? To raise money?

“As a matter of fact, we’re not fund raising. We simply want to support our local food vendors and create some connection in our neighborhood and community,” said Pastor Vicki Case. “Everyone is welcome!”

In a continuing series we occasionally revisit, Pastor Vicki is covering what we believe the Bible teaches at Maplewood. A question we often receive is about a word that never appears in Scripture–but in reality the concept is painted from beginning to end in the Bible. This week, we’re talking about the Trinity. So grab a notebook and get ready to head back to class in our latest episode of Christianity 101. You may even learn how to dance….

Why cook dinner when you can come out and support our local food trucks! This Tuesday, Maplewood welcomes Ol’ School Barbecue and Thai 1 On to 110 Lawnview Avenue from 3 to 6 p.m. (weather permitting of course)!

“We’ve had a few folks ask if this is a fund-raiser for Maplewood. It’s not,” said Pastor Ed Klett, Community Pastor at Maplewood. “This is simply a way to connect with our community, our neighbors and our families.”
