Insider Information

Trading insider information on the stock market is illegal. But when it comes to understanding Scripture, the Holy Spirit gives followers of Jesus this “insider” ability to understand what the Bible is trying to say. Join us this week as Pastor Ed challenges us to read the Bible “in the Spirit” so we can actually understand what it is saying and so we can apply it to our lives…

This week, Pastor Vicki explores how we can overcome these distractions and realize Christ’s best for our lives…

Recent messages

We’re sorry for the lack of content over the past several weeks. Our lead pastor has been out on medical leave and has not been able to post. However, below are not one, but two recent messages from Maplewood that we wanted to make sure we publish online.

From June 25, 2023: Pastor Ed Klett preached a great message on Remembering Jesus

The Whole Bottle

It’s Pentecost Sunday–the birthday of the church of Jesus Christ! This week, we are celebrating both Pentecost and Memorial Day Weekend by focusing on what it means to receive God’s full measure of His Holy Spirit to help us become the people we were intended to be. Don’t mess around with a dab of His presence when the whole bottle is available. Enjoy this week’s message from Maplewood’s Community Pastor, Ed Klett.

Pruning Lilacs

Pruning makes way for growth. But when we talk about pruning in our personal lives, it becomes a topic we want to avoid. This week at Maplewood, Pastor Joe begins to tie up why the nation of Israel was destined to wander in the desert for 40 years–and it has everything to do with the concept of pruning.

Manna

This week at Maplewood is looking into the future. Join us as we explore what the future may hold for our ministry in the next year and beyond. Moving into the future with Jesus takes a “one day at a time” mentality. Are you trusting God for your daily bread? Or are you consumed with whether you will have bread next week. There’s a difference. To learn more, click the play button and give us a listen.
