Ed Klett–who has recently embraced a call to ministry–expands on this truth found in John 11: since Jesus says I am the Resurrection and the Life, followers of Jesus have hope for new life right now…and in eternity.

The theme will be “Maplewood County Fair” and each night children will learn about the fruits of the Spirit through an interactive and fun old, time county fair theme.

In Acts 9, Barnabas steps forward to help Saul progress and grow in his new relationship with Christ. This week, we consider the implications of this passage on the church in the 21st century.
We devote our time to the things we consider most important. This week, Maplewood focuses on Acts 9 and the story of Ananias and Saul. Through Ananias’ interaction with Jesus, we discover some simple principles regarding how to spend quality, “devoted time” with Jesus to nurture a healthy relationship with Him.
What’s next? It’s human nature to ask this question when we come to pivotal moments in our lives. Whether it graduating from high school, earning a bachelor’s degree, losing a job or losing a loved one, asking the question “what’s next?” is common. This week, Pastor Joe explores what the Scripture teaches us, focusing on the pivotal moment in the life of the Apostle Saul (Paul) in Acts 9.
